I am a member of the National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas, Inc. My Catahoulas are registered. In 2005, I received my championship stock and began breeding. The Catahoulas have competited in baying contest and placed high or won the contest.
Catahoula Leopard Cur - Louisiana State Dog
In 1979, Governor Edwin Edwards signed a bill making the Catahoula the official state dog of Louisiana in recognition of their importance in the history of the region. At this time they lost the name Catahoula Cur for Catahoula Leopard.
